I have loved photography for as long as I can remember. When asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, from the very beginning, I would reply, "an artist." My love for art led to the love of a camera. I received my first, a pink 110, when I was just 6 years old. My dad upgraded me to a 35 mm Nikon SLR upon graduation from high school and I set out from that moment just knowing in my heart I had a bright career ahead of me.
I attended the University of Mississippi and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Art with an emphasis on Graphic Design and Photography. I also studied photojournalism while I was there and that influenced my style in a big way.
After college, I continued to push myself towards my dream of becoming a full time, self employed professional photographer while working as a full time graphic designer for Bellevue Baptist Church and the Covington Leader.
I spent nights and weekends earning the business of client after client by focusing on customer service and quality that exceeded their expectations. After four years of building the most awesome client base a photographer could dream of, God laid it on my heart to step out on faith and take hold of my dream to work for myself and become a full time professional photographer.
Along the way, I've met the most fantastic people, who have become friends to our family because of this great blessing of a business God's given me.
I am thankful for all the return clients and positive feedback I've received over the years. I would love to add you to that list of clients that continues to grow day by day. I hope you'll call me today to book an appointment. I have a passion for photography and people and am here to serve you and your family now and in the years to come.
