Georgia will be six months on Thursday! I can hardly believe it. I have been wanting to do some mother/daughter shots like this for about a month, but haven't had the time to do them. Today, January 1, 2012, was the day to do it. What better way to document the beginning of a new year and a "1/2 birthday" than with a mini photo shoot.
Zach and I were reflecting back on 2011 last night and we both had this feeling that the year felt so divided. It seemed like we had one life "pre-Georgia" and a new life "post-Georgia." Since she was born at the beginning of July, she divided our year perfectly. Looking back on it, life just wasn't the same without her in it. Isn't it a blessing how God can add members to your family and you just can't recall what it was like before they existed? How did we ever live without her?
