"For as the earth brings forth her bud, and as the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations." Isaiah 61:11
Jonah has been talking about these "fuzzy blooms" all winter. Each time he's mentioned them, I've smiled and nodded not truly believing they were going to bloom. I just thought that was how the limbs of this tree looked bare.
Today, when I was loading the kids up in the car, I looked over and saw this. I was amazed that this tree was:
1. Blooming
2. Blooming in February.
3. So beautiful juxtaposed with the fuzzy bud and drabness of winter all around it.
How my 4 year old knew this tree would bloom, I have no idea. Maybe he's smarter than me, or maybe, like Jesus said, he possesses a type of faith I do not have to see and believe the things God takes time to produce.

God takes His time and all is right and perfect in God's time. That is my affirmation for today. Thanks Emily and Jonah!
