What a difference a year makes! Justin, Janna, and Bennett you know how much a I love all three of you. I count it as a true honor to have been chosen to capture sweet Bennett's first year! It has truly flown by so fast. He is too cute for words. Enjoy a few flash-back/flash-forwards in this post.

Happy Mother's Day to the Mother of all Mothers, Terri Turner!
I have been photographing "Mrs. T's" children since I started my business in the early 2000's. I have been the official baby photographer for Lynley, Bristol, Tripp and hopefully little Miss Baby Girl Turner due in Sept. Tripp, featured below, is one of seven eight children and he has one of the best moms I know. Her children are always obedient around me and she never raises her voice at them in my prescence. They respect each other and listen to their mother's voice.
I have known Terri as long as I can remember. Growing up we swam at the same pool, went to the same schools, and even sat at the same lunch table at CHS. She was one year older than me, but her presence always made me feel safe. She has been a nurturer from the start.
Terri is now in my discipleship group and I have really, really enjoyed getting to know her more. She and I could sit for hours and just talk about the Lord and what He is doing in our lives without running out of words. Our lunches are never shorter than 2 hours and we hardly get any pictures taken at her sessions for our chattiness. For those who know Terri, this may be easy to believe, but for those of you who know me as more of a typist than a talker this will be a testimony to just how great our God is!
Thank you Terri for being my good old new friend. I have loved watching you grow in the Lord and your eyes light up as you begin to take hold of the things God is teaching you.
He has great things in store for you and all of those arrows in your quiver. May you look around your dinner table and know that all those little ones will reach many for Christ if you remain faithful to train them up in His word and His will.
I just love twins! I am so glad to have these girls on my baby plan! I look forward to each of their sessions. Their mom always brings the cutest "twin" outfits. : ) Here are a few of our favorites from R & R's last session.
Little Harper turned ONE! Last Thursday, she stopped traffic with our last stop of the session for cake {and ice cream}. : ) I told her she was a good little PR machine for me to draw attention to the studio. We had so much fun. I always enjoy when she, her sisters, and her mom and dad come up from Collierville to see me. I'm once again sad to see another baby planner grow up and leave the EPC nest. I hope to see you again @ 2 or before, Miss Harper. You are so much fun!
Hayes timed his arrival perfectly with one of the most beautiful Springs in recent history. It was such a lovely day the day of his newborn session. We strolled from my studio all the way to my house and shot at various locations in between. I just love newborn sessions and even more so when we can get outside and caputure God's creation in the form of a babies and blooms.

Here's Georgia's little hospital nursery buddy, Charlie Joy, again. It's so much fun to watch them grow up together. I look forward to each one of his sessions in anticipation of hanging out with his mom and seeing how he and Georgia look next to each other. This is such a fun time in our lives as friends!
I loved this session! Especially because we thought "dad"would be in Afghanistan. To my surprise and Erica's relief he was able to be here for another round of photos. What sweet moments we got to capture during this early Spring session. The lighting was perfect this morning to capture this cute little boy.

Babies are my ablsolute favorite! I get so attached to the families I photograph throughout "baby's first year." I went to TCA, our preschool in town, today and saw my very first set of baby planners marching out the doors to meet their moms and dads who were picking them up. Some of them waved at me. Some of them yelled out, "Miss Emily!" and some just smiled. It made my day and made me realize how fast time flies.

Next Friday, December 9, is the last day to get your order and payment in for guarenteed delivery by Christmas. EPC photographs make great gifts under the tree. My niece, surprisingly, had pictures of my kids on her Christmas list. I am going to hook her up. LOL!
My last day to work for 2011 is Dec. 19, unless one special little baby planner is born early, and in that case my last day will be the 16th. I want to have everything wrapped up, no pun intended, : ) including, uploads, orders, proofs, etc. by that day. I haven't decided what my return day will be in January. All I want for Christmas is some extra special time with my children in the chilly first month of 2012.
