love this family

I love them because they are my family (cousins), but I know a lot of you love them, too, and that makes them really special. I hope Jonah turns out with as much character as these 3 boys. Their mom and dad have done such a wonderful job with them.

This is an example of a 10x20 storyboard. I have blank templates on the site for you to choose from, but what I like to do is take the template and make it fit your home and personality. This is a good example of a client giving me the 6 images they like and giving me the challenge of making it work.

my new retro corner

I've had this vision in my mind for a while, but finally found my last few pieces. I hope that it looks more vintage chic than Fred Sanford. Several people have asked me when I'm going to paint my glider, so I'm assuming all don't embrace this form of design. : )

But, art is what it is, and this is my form of expression for the moment. Oh what a happy place it is sitting under the shade tree with this view.

I've been working on a project and lacked a few photos of Jonah (really, I don't know how that is even possible, but anyway)...

Here are a few photos from today's shoot. Thanks to Mrs. Lexie, we got a few of him sitting still and smiling at the same time. He's a hard one to capture these days.

I've just finished uploading the 2009 Christmas Cards to the products page of the website. Since I don't allow you to scan my images to create your own cards, I've created 36 different choices (6 different designs, 6 different formats for each design) for you to choose from. Click here to view all of the cards. Select a size category to view all the designs in that format. If you wish to change the wording on any card, just type the text you want in the special instructions box upon checkout.

You may also order bulk prints to put in your own cards, if you wish.

happy father's day!

I always like to make something special for holiday gifts. Zach's first Father's Day was no exception. I created a 10x10 "baby face" collage on silver beveled board for his desk at work. It turned out so cute that the grandparents got one, too!

Before we were admitted into the hospital last week, I had intended to post Jonah's printed birth announcement. I was very pleased with how it turned out. It was a 6 panel accordion fold card (3 panels on front and 3 on the back). It folded into a square format. I hope to have some templates designed in this style for you to choose from at Christmas this year.

10x20 Storyboard Designs

10x20 storyboards are now available. Storyboards are a great way to showcase images from your sessions without having to buy separate frames. They are also great for baby plan clients who want a series of images from their baby's first year. Storyboards look best in all color or all black in white. 

The images are printed on one large photograph, mounted on double weight matte board, and sprayed with an archival finish. All you have to do is pick up a ready made 10x20 frame, pop it in and it's ready to hang. You can choose from any of the designs below and and include anywhere from 2-5 images. It's all up to you. You may order these through the products page under the proofing site. You just select the design you like, add to cart, and then add the images you want featured on the storyboard.
