Jonah and I are tagging along with Zach this week at his annual River Engineering meeting. Two years ago, while I was attending this conference with him, this blog was born. : )

how do you display?

I'm in the mood for a little contest. 

Several of my clients have been emailing me pictures of the way they display my photos. It makes me so happy to see this because I rarely get to see your images printed much less framed. Once I hit the order button on my computer, those digital images get sent into cyber space to my lab and they ship them Fed Ex to your doorstep. 

Here are a couple of examples of how 2 of my baby planners displayed their proofs:

 

So, your assignment this weekend is to take a picture of your Emily Peyton Cook Photography display in your home. The time has finally arrived for me to hang up my hypothetical camera strap to the public. Beginning tomorrow at 5:00 p.m., I am officially on maternity leave. 

WARNING: You will be subjected to numerous blog posts featuring the newest member of emily peyton cook photography in the next 9 weeks. : )

That means all orders intended for delivery prior to March 31 should be placed and paid for by this deadline. (If you order by 5:00 on 1/23, you will receive your order next week).

Several of your galleries expire on February 5. You may choose to wait until this deadline to order, but be aware that there is no guarantee that you'll receive that order during my maternity leave. Remember, for your session to be archived, you must place an order by February 5 (if no order is received, your photos will be deleted). 

I still have several of you who have not picked up Heritage Day Photos and Fall Family Mini Session Photos. If these are not picked up by tomorrow at 5:00, you will have to wait until March 31 to pick them up.

I just picked up my copy of the Holiday Classic and wanted to give a BIG thank you to the Leader for such a wonderful publication. I would also like to thank all who helped make the printing possible by purchasing an ad. So, class this is an interactive post and I need your participation. Your grade depends on it.  : )

I have my first BIG ultrasound next Thursday to hopefully find out the gender of Baby Cook. 

I need you to answer these 2 questions in the comments for this post. I am really interested in your feedback.

Answer the second one if you don't have any children.

1. Did you find out the gender of your baby at your first ultrasound (20 weekish)? 

    Or, did your baby not cooperate and you had to go back a second time?

2. Guess the gender of my baby by your initial feeling. 

     Whoever guesses right will receive a free 5x7 with their next session. 

     I will email the coupons out after Labor Day.
